Type of dog breeds

There are many different type of dogs. I am going to list the behaviour of each dog bread.

Retriever

Much like Herding Dogs, Retrievers look to their handlers for direction. Perhaps this is a common element that leads both of these groups to be such excellent participants in team related dogsport today. While a few breeds, like the Golden and Labrador dominate the scene both as pets and hunting dogs, other older breeds are similarly blessed if of somewhat different, even quirky temperament.

Spaniel

Soft as a Spaniel’s ear or Spaniel’s eye or Spaniel’s expression are indications of how gentle a face we have come to expect from our Spaniels. This has resulted in the popularity of several in this group as devoted companions. Compact with generally silky coats they require minimal grooming (as a group), wonderful to the touch and easy to travel with. Remarkably intelligent and happy, many prove to be fabulous companions once reared with appropriate techniques.

Pointer-Setter

Within the Sporting Group, much of the elegance and glamour belongs to the Pointers-Setters, even today, in the show ring, their appearance is eye-catching. Exquisite lines and poised beauty that can only appear in something that works while still, is always popular. Not to be fooled though, Pointer-Setters are very high energy and require high levels of mental and physical stimulation for long term health.
